TN VOLS fans coming to UCLA/Colorado game

My brother worked on Gameday for a couple of years and traveled to all sorts of amazing stadiums/gameday experiences (Iron bowl, Michigan State blocked punt against Michigan, playoffs and national championships). He said nothing compares to the Army Navy game. Far and away the coolest football experience. I'm dying to go to one. Although... GO NAVY!!!

What's better that you can get from a drive-thru?
Personal choice - but I prefer Jack in the Box, Carl's Junior, and even Burger King. Not to get too far down a rabbit hole, but my son and I actually did burger and fry taste test one day of 6 places - IN and Out was about 4th for burgers if I remember right.

Thoughts on CommonGround Golf Course?
I play there about twice a month. It’s as good of a course as you’ll find in the city. It’s fairly cheap and pretty challenging. It’s a typical urban course though. It’s pretty confined and surrounded by major streets in not exactly the nicest part of town (not the worst part of town either). If you’re looking for more scenery/nature, I’d look elsewhere.

go to the Canadian side - seriously. The buffalo side is kinda depressing.

Speaking of which, anyone know of a quicker way of getting a passport than paying for them to expedite it? I just realized going to Canada I am going to need one.

Not really. You can expedite them and it takes 4-6 weeks. If you’re in a real bad pinch they can set up appointments at passport agencies and get it done in like 2-3 weeks. But yeah Canada is not America lol.

Here the info:

Fastest way I know of is this

There are a number of businesses on the web that claim to be able to turn around a renewal in 24 hours. Don't know how much they cost, how effective they are, or what the circumstances are under which they can do it.

Going through the link above we got my wife's passport done in less than a week a couple years ago but it depends on them having an appointment available and you going in person when they can fit you in. You will also need to have proof of the urgency of travel such as dated airline tickets.

Yeah just decided this past week to do the Syracuse game and then go to Niagara. Upstate and Western New York is the only part of the lower 48 I have not been to.

+1 for this. Best kept secret in passports.

I'd call ahead and see how quickly they can turn it. They won't commit to anything I'm sure but I did mine in one day in CT. Had a morning appointment and waited there until I got it in the afternoon. When I called ahead they wouldn't commit to anything but essentially told me they'd probably be able to do it the same day.

Think of it like the DMV but longer waits. My cousin did one in Florida in the same day too. Basically the expedited services just do the waiting for you.

AKA "a Wednesday commute".

see. now that hurts. i may be an aging reprobate, but i haven't been possibly under the influence behind the wheel since college and that may have been awhile ago.

sure, i started with taxi drivers who i tipped to show up on demand. then, i went to car services. but, now, uber and lyft have democratized this ****. i still have a car guy on speed dial just in case, but with the on-demand stuff, there is really no need to cocktail and drive.

or, one of you ****s can drive me and explain why you think russian-backed socialism is a win for the us. i'm listening...

Make your tee time for when you are transiting between Colorado Springs and Boulder, and play at Arrowhead Golf Course .

I'm gonna have to 86 Mr. Fox I'm guessing. Little prick came here again trying to dig up Joe. I had to go in at 5 today, it had to be after that. I don't want to do that but might not have a choice.

I wouldn't do Common Ground. Nothing really special about it with many other unique courses available.

Check out Fossil Trace Golf Course in Golden. Only 30 minutes south of Boulder.

Indian Peaks in Lafayette, 15 minutes east.

Or, since you are going in between Boulder and Colorado Springs, my personal favorite: Bear Dance in Larkspur.

Quoted for sheer awesomeness. So many questions.

If Luke's neighbors see him out there with a big knife they will know what's coming next. The chickens in the area will be able to sleep more peacefully.

Is there some kind of universal uncle Luko translator that is available in situations like this?

I'll give it a stab.

Luke is a bartender. Mr Fox, Little Prick, and Joe got up to some shenanigans during happy hour, but hey, rules are rules, right?
