One interesting thing about the Les Miles hire ---- Oklahoma State pretty much forced Mike Gundy on him. There was a pretty large group of fans who wanted their athletic director to hire Gundy at the same time that Miles was hired. Miles' age, experience, and prior stint as the offensive coordinator of the Cowboys led the athletic director to give him the job -- but at the same time he hired Mike Gundy as the offensive coordinator. It was sort of a "best of both worlds" scenario for him.
Then, when Miles jumped ship to go to LSU - they pretty much just handed over to Gundy, and they now have a man, who's 40, as their head coach.
We would be lucky to get a coach of Miles' caliber in Boulder. I would take him in a heartbeat.
Why would Miles leave LSU?
Because he hates the smell of corndogs.
Why would Miles leave LSU?
endless harassment
Why would Miles leave LSU?
I don't think Miles would get away with that here. Barnett got in trouble for non-endless harassment.
Miles is the one being harassed not the other way around.

I'd love to have Les Miles as a head coach, but would he seriously leave LSU for us? I just don't see it happening...
But if I was Bohn, I'd make a run for him. What does he got to lose? If Miles turns us down, our second choice should be Gus Malzahn. I think of the two, Malzahn would be easier to snag, but I'd go hard for Miles first. Then Malzahn if Miles says no, which is very likely.
What on earth makes anyone think he would leave LSU? Yeah so the pressure is tough down there. The guy won it all and is always ranked. Why not Saban or Urb? Think we could get them too? Hell if we are getting those guys then why not Gruden and Durant for Melo while we are at it.
Miles comes up because he has ties to Colorado. He's went on record saying how much he loves Boulder, and how he'd love to live there. What on earth makes anyone think he would leave LSU?
