Jim MF'n Leavitt

We all do but the man has earned another HC shot. Someone is going to make him an offer he can't refuse and we're going to congratulate him and thank him for a remarkable, albeit short, run here.

Then we better hope they find someone who is legit at defense and the kids buy into. Pay the man Rick.

If necessary, I can probably buy some cases for those who can't make a drop-off in Boulder.

I'd imagine if we get enough cases in there, our efforts will be worth a tweet!

Cal board saying our success isnt because of Mac but leavitt.

Also apparently there's a guy there that's friends with JL on the board, said his decision to go to CU was temporary to get his image more acceptable in college football again. He's never come across that shallow, and this is a cal board so I'm sure it's homerism.

Makes sense to me. Leavitt wants to be a HC in college again. So he took a job that was actually below his resume value but necessary considering the way things ended at USF.

Not giving MM credit and putting it all on Leavitt is crap, though. They both did a great job getting the team to where it got to this year.

Yeah but apparently he had options to leave after last season so some of it sounds like BS.

Yeah. Wife and kids love it here and he always has.
 
If the HCMM interviewing at Baylor rumors end up being true (a big if of course) HC Jim Leavitt sounds pretty good. If some sceanrio like that went down, I'd just hope the timing was a s such that HCMM sells out before JL gets a HC offer elsewhere. He's gonna be a HC. I'd take him here in a heartbeat.
 
Will Leavitt being discussed for HC jobs actually hurt Mac's chances - would you hire Mac if Leavitt and Chev weren't coming with him?
