CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

The 4 G5s should shut the **** up. They know nothing about our "home". I can't wait to beat their ****ing asses

I’m suddenly irrationally nervous about Pac12 announcing final media right numbers any day now that are better than expected. Call it long time Buff fan fear of impending doom.
McMurphy reporting at least 1 and possibly 3 others coming to Big 12, most likely all Pac programs. There isn't a deal out there to be had at the moment for a Pac 9, let along a Pac 8 or Pac 6.

The Pacific conference is dead

That's twice now in the last 24 hours that Buc-ees has been referenced. Somebody help me out here. WTF is that?

I don't feel compelled to Google, because it sounds like some variant of a Cleveland Steamer, and I don't need that **** (so to speak) in my browsing history.
Despite the number of Trump-loving mother ****ing rednecks that frequent Buc-ees, they have the cleanest public bathrooms you will ever see..

Adding Arizona/Washington/Oregon would result in a pretty strong conference and legit #3 in football, #1 in basketball

Dare I say the possibility to be stronger than it was with UT and OU while those two experience a decade in the SEC similar to the one we just survived
Get to 16 and call it good. Add UO , UW  and UA  and call it good. Let the rest of the conference suck it.

CU will be blamed for the collapse, but really USC and UCLA, and the inability to secure a TV deal or relevance were the issues. Bummed for the Pac. I loved that conference.

I honestly don’t know if it was GK or the University Presidents who ****ed this up, but I’m not happy about it. I suspect we will get some details eventually. We had a good thing going and they ****ing trashed it. Assholes.

The university presidents ****ed this up in slow motion over the last decade.
Maybe, but I don’t know if it was the University Presidents who managed to **** up the media negotiations. That really feels like a GK thing to me.

I’m actually seeing a lot of sympathy for Colorado’s choice.

We waited patiently for over a year and weren’t given squat to work with.

This is all being laid on Kliavkoff.

Agreed. A Pac 12 with USC and UCLA still in it, was estimated to be worth at least $500m/year, which would have put each school at close to $42m/year for media rights + other distribution which would have probably been in the 20s, so around $60m/year/school. Those programs chose to take the extra $30m/year in the B1G.

If it has to be one G5, I'll take SDSU just so the Cali contingency on this board can shut the **** up about West Coast alum donations
SDSU does more for CU than most options because of alum and student presence in SD & OC. If it was between them an UConn, Memphis and UNLV then SDSU is an easy choice for me.

I'd also take SDSU over taking both AZ schools or over taking Utah since we've already got BYU for the market. I might also take them over Cal.

Same way that LA to Newark road trip isn't ideal? If they added SDSU, that's an equally ****ty road trip for those two schools. It would only be once every few years.
JFC, what's up with not understanding how airline routes work?

For football, you're generally chartering, so it's always direct and equal distance is equal pain.

For every other sport though: there are 20+ direct LAX-EWR flights every single day. Your travel time is like 6 hours. It sucks, but is what it is.

Pullman to Orlando? There *might* be one or two daily options to get there with one layover; more likely you're looking at 3 flights and 2 layovers. Good luck getting that travel time down below 10 hours with any level of convenience.
