. I know.I don’t think the AD telling the players he’s coming back is a vote of confidence to the media when asked about his security. He’ll be back
He probably gone for sure
Colorado assistant Sean Lewis linked to Power Five head coaching job - Saturday Out West
Colorado assistant Sean Lewis has been linked to a newly-opened Power Five head coaching job.saturdayoutwest.com
Colorado’s offense averaged 32 points a game before the switch from Lewis to Shurmur. The Buffs have averaged 21.3 points a game in the three games since.
Ok, so a little context.Shurmur…
Oh I don’t think he’s getting a P5 HC job unless it’s one like Iowa State or Cincinnati or something. I’d also say he’s a great candidate for the Penn State OC job, but I just don’t see a tier 1/2 program going all in with the run and shoot/flash fast/QB run/RPO offense. It’s gimmicky in its truest formI wish the best of luck to Sean Lewis but I wouldn't be surprised if he wound up back in G5 as a HC or got another OC job in P5. These P5 HC jobs are pretty competitive.
He'd be a good fit in Flagstaff, I'd expect him to be able to recruit very effectively in Arizona and California. They should call Sanford. Seriously.
I said the same thing about UNC last year. They should call Sanford. Seriously.
Yea, I don't get why they didn't even give him a call.I said the same thing about UNC last year.
UNC may have even lucked into a win with Sanford in charge this year.
Lewis’ stint as OC apparently broke numerous offensive records. If youre a well heeled 35 year old you may remember the prolific Donovan McNabb / Marvin Harrison offenses that set most of those records to begin with.Lewis to Syracuse would seem weird to me since he came up under Babers (who just got canned).
Some of y'all laughed at that take last yearYea, I don't get why they didn't even give him a call.
Coaching at Nebraska is perfect preparation for coaching at A&M.I love that this has become a message board rumor that is popping up all over the place.
It's hard to switch schemes like that.Lewis to Syracuse would seem weird to me since he came up under Babers (who just got canned).
Two of the more bizarre fanbases in the sport as well LOLCoaching at Nebraska is perfect preparation for coaching at A&M.
Never have a win total that matches the fans expectations and watch all your best players head for the portal.
His players really liked and respected him.I said the same thing about UNC last year.

4 years, 4 finishes in the top 5.Who knows if this person actually knows anything, but I’ve seen a lot of stuff out there saying tOSU fans would be happy if he left. Why?
When I stood next to their fans at the Miami tOSU Fiesta Bowl all those years ago they were just hoping to not get embarrassed. now theyre as douchy as it gets.4 years, 4 finishes in the top 5.
But expectations have gone insane. He's lost to Michigan the last 2 years, hasn't won a B1G title since 2020, and has a 1-3 record in the playoffs. Buckeye fans refuse to accept this level of failure and personal suffering.
Could not criticize that move. Would be a huge blow for the Beavs as iirc he's an OSU alum and it was a "dream job" scenario.
MSU is going for Jonathan Smith
Some coaches are going to have to choose between their dream job where they can make $3-4m/year but never compete for a championship, and being able to compete.Could not criticize that move. Would be a huge blow for the Beavs as iirc he's an OSU alum and it was a "dream job" scenario.
Dumbass beaver fans deserve him going there. That's a ****ty job.

If Smith to MSU happens.
