2017-2018 Bowl Season

Interesting to see how the statistic of Alabama never losing to a Pro Style QB. If in the second half, Fromm played well, but they could not run the ball and Bama knew it, so they rolled every coverage up tighter to the line and as mentioned the Bama DL took over, specifically #94!! If we had a #94, we would be a totally different team.

First time they ran straight cover 2 all night, not something they often do. The CB didn't reroute the WR at all and the safety was held to the hash by the QB's eyes.
Still no excuse for the Safety to not at least be in position to contest it. He wasn’t even close. He didn’t get deep enough or wide enough to his landmark.

Yeah, Da'ron Payne disrupted every single play that he wasn't triple teamed on, and I'd say drawing a triple team counts as disruption.

Hawaii is MUCH more expensive than Alabama. If they owned a home in HI, selling it to live near Tuscaloosa would be a big financial boon.

And, barring that, cash suitcases on the front porch and no-show jobs help!

Have to ask the obvious question, albeit not knowing Tua's family's situation - the whole family moved from Hawaii to Alabama, and the kid just thanked God for "what football has done for me and what it's done for my family".

He's 18. He isn't playing professionally and he's not allowed to have endorsements. So what is he talking about when he says "what it's done for my family"?

Chubb 18 carries for 25 yards; Michel on the other hand... 14 for 98.

About 50/50 balance of run to pass playcalls

So that tells me that Michel should get at least another 11 carries!!! The yardage and the time off the clock would have changed everything. Why do coaches stick to standard rotations of players, and not immediately override the situation and keep the hot hand in!!!

Jobs at banks. That is is the secret, unless you have a unicorn stable.

I don't know what happened with that. Georgia lost this game just as much as Bama won it.

Alabama's recruiting is now over the top and is ruining College Football. The pure physical appearance of most of the Alabama players is just not funny. The raw body structure and size is just unfair! If a 329 pound man can zip his head around and intercept a football out of midair, then start running pretty quickly down the field is just flat out amazing. Based on the young talent on that field, they will be back again and again and again!!!

So will georgia, their recruiting class is sick. 6 5 star players? CU hasn't had that in their history.

Also, tell me how in the hell Alabama has the second highest APR in the SEC? That much talent and good grades somehow? Not many of those dudes look like students! Every year since Saban took over, they have actually improved their APR. Unbelievable

I’m sure there is a reasonable explanation.

Looks like it's just a pretty dang good all around football program.

The program is incredibly well run at all levels and has a huge support staff. Probably an "athlete path" on academics like even Stanford has but CU doesn't, but that's just the university doing a good job of supporting athletics because it recognizes the importance to the university (applications, donations, etc.).

P.S. Let's all be careful about how we phrase comments regarding academics and being able to judge someone's scholastic ability by looking at him. :)

An athlete gets a point for staying in school and a point for staying academically eligible. It’s a bull**** system. There should be some sort of weighting system based on course difficulty.
