The thing I love about the direct snap is it's the ultimate in imposing your will.
Everyone on the defense, the other coaches, the folks in the stands and everyone watching on tv knows that it's 99% going to be a run by the guy getting the snap.
And when they still can't stop you it's the ultimate in-your-face football.
Kudos to UGA for putting the game away with that.

I concur. But now really really going to root for Clemson so it's not an all-SEC final.
But my experience with UGA fans has been nothing but positive.
To each their own. Sports need guys you like and don’t like. When everything is too bland it’s boring.
But that OU run D wasn’t good enough. Glad it was won on a long run.

I like him but I’m not convinced he’s an NFL starter. I’d rather them go for offensive/defensive line before taking mayfield.

For the record, I respect the hell out of UGA. Pretty much the only team from the SEC that regularly leaves the region for meaningful games during the regular season.
