All of the above.Beat them in smoking weed, skiing or football?
I say the stars align, we beat UCLA on the road, and Slick gets fired.unfortunately we continue to be a laughingstock regardless until we prove we can win a road game, and now that probably isn't going to happen at all, but possibly at UCLA if the stars align
I say the stars align, we beat UCLA on the road, and Slick gets fired.
And does that honestly count as a "quality" road win? When will we beat a good team on the road? Does Arizona 2012 count?
I didn't see the cal game yesterday, but they didn't beat Fresneck by that much. That said, picking the buffs to win any game at this point is beyond stupid.
I still think we beat Cal, and I will still be shocked if Cal wins. Just like the buffs can't prove they can win on the road, Cal can't prove it either.
Keep the faith, bigbang.
The most dramatic improvement you see with a team is usually between the first and second game.
Going back a couple years, that's how I absolutely knew that we should have fired Hawkins after the Toledo game. Hope was gone, we let him stay on for another year and a half, and we had two recruiting classes ranked outside the top 50 as a result.
Does cal have an 18 game losing streak on the road?
pretty damn close
if only. i still say to any one with a strong, powerful stomach to go find the post-Toledo presser on youtube where Dan brags about not teaching tackling in a whimsical story about Dick Tomey. it's like surrealism. he's smiling away after a complete asskicking by a mid major and two weeks removed from losing at home to CSU....telling the media how as a coach his move is to not coach.
Their current road losing streak is zero, that's not very close.
I still view a Hawaii team as significantly more talented than a Cal team at Boulder for the first time. However, Hawaii found a lot of flaws in our team. The game tape will show a lot. Lets hope Embree and Bieniemy are able to correct the obvious ones in the next week.
