Closest thing we have to anything that would be based on evidence, but if he's leaving for that reason, I'd think it was the cherry on top with other, underlying reasons existing.
Sparaco was a guy I thought would get some productive snaps. So much for that.
Lift off.
Factor in that we appear to be on track to use Buff Backer and only one OLB in our normal sets, which cuts OLB playing time in half.

He gave it everything he had but the breaks kept going against him. Wish him all the best in his future.
I'd expect a walk on to be awarded a scholarship. Maybe Lucas Cooper for a safety in that junior class.
Also, has anyone heard a thing about Frank Umu? Would it be ridiculous to think that he could return for fall camp after a year away?

This far past the recruiting cycle I would think two walk-on seniors will get a scholarship for their last seasons.
Is Polley grey shirting to add weight back?
What happened with Middlemiss? Transfer?
Edit: Nevermind..just noticed the thread.
OL is absolutely terrifying. If we have a couple injuries like last year, the wheels could completely come off the whole season.
I actually have a lot more confidence in the 2018 depth. It's far from terrifying to me if guys like Kutsch, Ray and Fillip need to play significant roles.
Yeah, at first glance I thought we were in trouble, but we knew Polley wasn't playing and Middlemiss was third string coming out of spring. At this point, if we needed those guys in 2018, we are screwed either way.
I've got tree fiddy that says we'll have people thinking the sky is falling when we're over 85 again after December's signing day.
