who has the edge in stinkoln?

Let me put this to rest, new head coach new everything, true freshman quarterback new offense scheme new D Coord look at CSU new coordinator new D coordinator that worked well. UCLA..... they are littered with four and five star recruits in their own backyard and they lost with the mighty Chip Kelly .....Even the great Nick Saban (@BAMA) lost his last four games (6-6) to make it to a bowl game to beat a crappy Dan Hawkins team and that’s even coming off a national championship at LSU....BUFFS BY 10.....Only because there is a thing called husker Magic and it’s real

Nebraska was 2-5 at home last year losing their final 4 home games by a combined 112 points. Husker magic my ass.

Hoping that the increased speed at LB and S will make a difference against a running QB this year. Worthington and Fisher have pretty good wheels on the back end while Lewis, Landman, Wells and Taylor can all scoot from the LBs.

You are only as fast as your slowest player, so one particular lb had better not be on the field much on Saturday. We cannot give nebraska obvious matchup advantages.

Shenault is Shannon Sharpe but faster....they will be on him but it will open up Winfree or someone else

Can Chip Kelly disciple Scott Frost do what Chip couldn't do in game 1, with a new system? (win at home)
Does Frost have a better DC? Does Frost have some weak spots to exploit?

NU-Akron game would have helped them get out the kinks and jitters. But there also would have been film on where Akron was able to probe. There's enough film on what they ran at UCF on both sides, but how THIS group can do it is still unknown.

Game plan should be to have Martinez beat CU with his arm. Slow down the clown circus offense enough that forces him into throwing downs. Contain on the pass rush so he doesn't leak away and run for first downs. Let's see how he is from the pocket.

Martinez cant throw...more of runner this year.... throw next year

I like where our heads at. Treat them as the most dangerous opponent evar. Prepare accordingly and the results will speak for themselves.

Freshman QB means they'll try to run a lot. Especially early before our speed on O takes over the game. Sooo the key is to stop the run and force them into 3rd and long and then blitz the **** outta the Frosh.
Taylor Lewis Landman will spy Martinez.....

They will have maybe 40% of their playbook available with a brand new team and true frosh qb. Buffs should be able to handle as long as they play their defensive assignments.

So what happens if the buffs are stomped can we finally move on from MM?. I Expect a comfortable win we have
waited for over a decade for a dominant road victory in a hostile environment.

2016 oregon was not dominate but was a good win in that environment.

So you pretty much will post the same crap every week? Sweet.

I think anyone making declarative statements on how NU will look on Saturday is purely guessing.
I didnt say how they will look. Im saying having new everything, especially for a game 1, usually means miscues, shuffling players, and having a true freshman QB in his first D1 game usually doesnt go well especially for how terrible NU did last year. Do u disagree?

I think a true freshman QB with athleticism is a nice wild card for them. I have never viewed inexperience as a major detriment.

Well.... last true freshman to start for them was some guy named Tom Frazier. So i guess Martinez could be the 2nd coming

So NU has film on the Buffs.

Who on the Huskers can run the scout team offense anywhere as efficiently as Montez? It’ll be tough for Frost to replicate the CU buzzsaw in practice.

Experience and chemistry advantage CU. Also word isn’t out yet about the Roper/Chev/Adams bump.

I think that if the game was at CU it would be ugly for NU. Advantage for NU being home with opening day (the sequel) excitement and against an old foe. If CU handles that ok, then CU has a good shot to win. If they don’t, then we lose. Really know zip about what NU will put on the feild, so my best guess for win/loss has to be based off of how CU handles that raucous environment.
