Official Phillip Lindsay Really is the first undrafted rookie in the ProBowl Thread

Monster game for Philip. Representing the metro area.

Ran the 40 in 4.4 in high school. Even though some people on here doubted him. He got faster in College. Now running 4.3 in the NFL lol.

He now has about 860 yards rushing in his rookie season with 4 games to go. Rookie of the year?

Nope. Barkley will be, they won’t award an UDFA.

PL is my favorite Bronco to wear the #30. Yeah, I said it. In a few more years he may be may favorite Bronco ever.

Easy big boy, back away from the bar!!!
Terrell Davis is a HOF that helped the franchise win two Super Bowls and is a great representative of the Broncos.
Even PL would tell you that his favorite #30 Bronco is TD

I love TD. But TD didn't grow up in the same city and state as me and didn't play college ball for my favorite college program. PL did. He was already my favorite CU player all time before he signed with Denver. I didn't say he belongs on the Broncos Mt Rushmore.

I can respect the hell out of that!!! Did not see it that way.
TD is exactly the same age as me and was at his prime when I was watching and loving the Broncos in my younger days.

Just a fantastic job by PL taking what is available, being patient, and then hitting the joystick button and ripping off what he can get, and then being a smart Emmitt Smith runner and not taking any contact to move on to the next play. The patience and vision he is using now was not present at CU. He is maturing as a runner really quickly.

I would think that makes it more impressive, but you are most likely correct.

You and I are in agreement that it makes it more impressive. Unfortunately, I believe the NFL and the writers are enamored with flash and Barkley’s draft status. He’s a big name and I believe that they want to push his narrative and make him the next big star. Lindsay, while good is going to have to continue this for awhile longer to start seeing the NFL publicity he deserves. As of now I’m sure many think he’s still just a flash in the pan. Barkley though does have a more impressive resume right now though, he catches a lot of passes.

He is maturing as a runner and getting better coaching.

Bigger difference though is that he is getting better blocking and a much better selection of plays to run.

He rarely had the kind of lanes he is using now.

i can just about guarantee you that Phil himself cares way less about any of this than you do and the only reason why he'd want any award is so the line gets recognised for their blocking.

That is the sh*t right there!!!
I really want PL to be a part of the CU Athletic Administration someday when he retires! I know he wants to be a police officer, but a great position for him would be Director of Player and Community Relations, with his main job to work with the CU Police, Boulder Police, and Denver Police to help create positive relationships with the players and the community. He needs to be around the program for a long time!!!
