Lewis isn’t good. I had some hope coming off his Alamo Bowl performance, and I’m sure some of his shortcomings are due to this offense, but he’s just not very good. I’m just not sure we have anyone better which is terrifying.
Here's where you and I agree-this scheme is ****, but he's still gotta find a way to make lemonade out of lemons as the QB. The question of the offseason is what does JT Shrout look like coming off the knee?

Maybe this staff broke him but he doesn’t make the easy throws and he’s completely gun shy. The guy started the entire season for a team that is consistently playing from behind and he has just 3 INTs in the entire season. I’m not rooting for INTs, but they (or he) takes zero chances with the ball. That’s fine when you have a dominant run game and ball control type offense, but we don’t. He doesn’t know what to do with the ball when he’s out there and I would at least hope to see some occasional playmaking when a play breaks down and he’s left to his own intuition but he never made a play.

Tough season for the Buffs. Went to a gun fight with a knife. The good thing is they didn't quit and kept on fighting. Will have to do major surgery on the roster. Got to a do better job protecitng Lewis. Took too many rib sots today. Also got to learn how to slide to avoid those hits. ON defense got to get faster and more athletic. Lots of work in the offseason. But there are some building blocs. The cabinet is not empty. We need

A Left tackle. Wiley, the tank and Filip can battle for the right tackle spot. Also 2 Guards and a center. A total of 4 OL.

1 WR

2 DL
2 LB
I CB
1 safety

I don't know about you-but I think A&M and these guys were the two best defenses we've seen this year-and he was struggling in a similar fashion today to the way he did in week 2. Not taking chances. Checking it down short of the sticks and hoping his guy can somehow make a play. I can't remember the last time I've seen a CU QB who is as risk averse as he is. Taking sacks because he's hanging onto the ball too long or slow to take off out of the pocket.

Is the scheme garbage? Yes. You're not going to get anybody in this fanbase to disagree with that take. You can't tell me having a kid who is as deer in the headlights/risk averse as Lewis has been all year hasn't played a big time part in why this was the worst offense in the power 5 this season.

Chiv is beyond bad
Langsdorf is his QB Coach, he is beyond terrible

News flash. Wiley and Filip are awful. Neither should play at this level.

Love the narrative about forgetting football and pivoting to basketball. At least we will not be at the bottom in basketball, but CU athletics is still pathetically disappointing. Some decent leadership and we would be regularly Top 20 in football and Top 30 in basketball. Neither one is happening bitches.

Filip didnt have a good game today. He needs to gain good weight. Also the shoulder injury affected his offseason program. Hopefully with one full healthy offseason in the weight room and another year of development Wiley and Filip can compete for the right tackle spot. W'iley is a right tackle not a left tackle.

This doesn't even qualify for a tiny trash can fire. You guys are not good. Maybe you should fire your coach again.

Calling plays is hell of a lot easier than going through a progression. The point of the offensive coordinator is to give the players the best play in a given situation, not force them to make a bad call look good BC they're better players

Yeah well if you have 3rd and long and your QB is checking it down short of the sticks and hoping his guy will be able to make a play......what's that?

Seen a lot of that from Lewis TY.

Yes. We also saw nothing but first down runs and 2nd and 20 runs. When teams do that over anf over, the other team catches on. Then they either blitz 8 or drop 8. That = sacks, check downs or int
