Can we stop rushing the field, please.

Yes, we are, and you've obviously never been to a big game there. CU games don't count.

Students relegated to the nosebleeds is not college football. You may enjoy your semi-pro atmosphere, but that's not what I want.

Screw it. If it's fun and hurts no one, do it.

That is the main goal of the school is that nobody gets hurt. It is so easy at CU that the cops would have to be the Gestapo to stop it and thereby pissing off the students. Some schools it is a legit safety issue, however at CU it is not. The onus is on the students to pick the games that merit the act.

There are schools that the students come on the field after every win.

If CU miraculously becomes bowl eligable, that would be worthy of rushing the field.

Most fusker fans are too fat to get over the rail to the field. They're reduced to trolling Buffs message boards. I guess it beats being among their own.

While I personally wouldn't and didn't rush the field. I'll not be complaining if they rush the field the day after Thanksgiving, cause that means we beat the motha****ing corn!

Hey, rushing the field is fun. I remember when I was, like, 10 growing up in San Angelo. Our high school team was good in those days. We'd get, maybe, 12 or 13 thousand at a game. After the games, which we usually won, us kids would rush the field. It was just great for little guys. The players would give out their chin straps. If you scored a chin strap, you were in hawg heaven. Great times. Holy ****. I just realized that was almost a half a century ago!

+1
Our students are apparently retarded, and do not understand that you don't rush the field EVERY TIME YOU WIN.
Not that Hawk has shown them enough home wins for them to know that.

Seriously, we got lucky against a bad team and won in spite of ourselves.

I agree. We need to stop rushing the field. Being a student here, I have witnessed each rush from my seat. I have refused to rush the field. I am embarrassed each time it happens. Kansas was the only acceptable time to rush, but even then, idk. I don't think rushing the field when beating a #17 ranked team who had not beaten anyone great at that point was that rush-worthy.

But i am sure emotions played into it, and it was family weekend, etc.

I'd rather see the students rush the field in protest at half time during the Missouri game, that'd be entertaining.

Only two games within the last 4 years were acceptable to rush the field. Those games were CSU in 2005 when Crosby nailed the game winning FG against CSU and in 2007 when we upset Oklahoma, probably the best game I have witnessed at Folsom.

Compare the energy and noise of the Oklahoma game with most games this year.

Half right... The OU win deserved a rush... CSU never has come close to being "rushable" and most likely never will.

Before the OU win, the last one that should have been and was rushed was the NU win in 2001. Before that? Maybe the win over A&M with Hessler.
