2018 Offseason News: Pac-12 & CU Opponents

If we played them Week 1 I would guarantee a victory right now. Still notngood for them

Sucks for him. I highly doubt we see him next year. It will be less than 6 months from his surgery date.

Yes Hill was supposed to be the starting QB...LambNation is passing out the Kleenex tonight.

Give it another year...Montez might be ready for the NFL. QB coach Roper has sent a few QBs to the NFL.
Montez will definitely get a shot and will more than likely be drafted. If Josh Allen has taught us one thing, it's that production, accuracy and quality of opponent doesn't really matter and it's all about height, weight and arm strength.

Montez does have those things. If he can clean up a few things this season, he could be gone. He's capable of doing the job as his very first college start showed.

Washington has agreed to a 10-year, $119 million contract with adidas.
The Huskies had been in with Nike since 1997, earning $3.5 million from the shoe giant annually. Their new deal with adidas will reportedly net them in the range of $5.75 million a year, but when apparel and marketing are factored in, the ultimate bottom line for UW ends up around $11.9 million annually.

Head coach Scott Frost said he is "excited" about freshman QB Adrian Martinez.
QB Patrick O’Brien's transfer request was granted, meaning the Cornhuskers are left with a gaping hole at quarterback. Martinez and redshirt freshman Tristan Gebbia are the only two scholarship quarterbacks eligible to play in 2018 and will both have a chance to claim the starting job. While Gebbia has slightly more experience with the program, he was recruited by former coach Mike Riley whereas Martinez was recruited by Frost. This makes a bigger difference than most think and should give the benefit of the doubt to Martinez for the starting position.

So you’re saying there’s not a chance.

That just looks like a rehash of last year's order of finish other than Wazzu. I think the FPI is pretty much just going on if the 2017 season continued into 2018.
