Bo Pelini hates Nebraska fans too

Come on he was a Mizzou fan. Who cares?

I does.
Sincerely,
Tuff Tiger

Oh, and I'll just leave this little piece of AB history here, circa 2010:
First of,I"ve have decide to use the sick guy with thermoter in his mouth as my simple for this big MU-CU week. On a nother note I liked something else that I" can"t fine or rember,so you can just let it go,okay?

I need now to let you know about my idea of Touhg as Rain. It"s mine own idea, but you can use it for you"re own team sfter I leave. It"s not againts any law in MU, but I don"t know abouth you"re laws in COLO, so you might check. Iwas in Colo once, but only not long,so you"ll will need to do that you"re self.

If you go outside ina tough rain downpour I can tell you that it will hurt. If you look strait up into a hard rain poor it will fell like BB"s poking you"re skin in you"re face. Sleeting would be worse. That"s not just my idea,it"S fact. Okay an from that I figurd that my best MU Tiger could have a tough name an, hey, it all seems to wrok real nice. That"s how it became a slowgun. When I first got this thougth it seemsed to make sents to me,an I just found the internets to a Huskerboadr an tasled to them about it.Some of the GBR didn"t get it,so I used this nother way/

If you stick an water hose to you"re ear an turn it on full, it can blow water into you"re head. Plus also that can mean water is hurting or TOUGH. So more reason for rain to be tough. I never put a hose in my ear,but I senn it done once.

There"s more about the GLendower banner an the GameDAY at OU wear I made a toughEr aS P raiN deal fro them to use. I don"t want to spend time on that now. Plus also I"m helping on the Huskers WWW to use the corn riding the pikle as they"re simple until they get they"re best GBR in top rate again. It gets hard to tell.

I"m tried of writing for now. I"m going back to read the Huskers internest now.

Tuff Tiger

all I know is at 3:51 in the video it was 36 kansas st and 44 COLORADO final !! yepee

It's actually quite fascinating observing Husker fans right now. There is a bit of an identity crisis going on, partially because Husker fans don't know who their program is anymore (from 40 year-long dynasty to fringe-relevant for a decade plus), and Bo's behavior is making people have to decide what kind of program they want, on the spot. There seems to be a fairly even split between:
  • Bo should be fired
  • Bo should resign
  • Let's boycott the game
  • Let's booo Bo but support the players
  • Sack up, we are Huskers, get over it

Like I said, quite fascinating, and yes, a little familiar.

For the first time in my memory the majority of nubs fans don't have the belief that they are a break or two away from being a legitimate contender for a NC. It is entering their heads that they arent something special with a divine right to a BCS level bowl game.

They are realizing that they aren't one QB or new coordinator away from being a top 5 team.

Funny to see them resigned to being mortal.

LOL! How true. You should hear the local sports talk shows airing the last 18 hours out this way.

**** that. I'm still immortal.

I do not see a way he survives this blow up especially with the video. He is not delivering on the field to the level of Husker expectations, not beating the solid teams anymore, has no way to endear himself to the fanbase he hates so much. My guess is he will be fired mid season after a couple more loses. And there are more coming.

He will be around for the rest of the season and more if he wins games. Actually level heads are prevailing with most fans beginning to see the light. Meaning they realize they have done what he has, only thing they are not close to a microphone when they do it.

Where was that thread about rationalizing when in a relationship with an addicted person?

. Must admit I am not a BOliever and have not been for a couple years now but I do not want this to play out this way. the NU fanbase resembles any other fan base with the open calls for firing and such.

FIFY. And you know why they resemble any other fan base? Because they are like any other fan base. Standing around after beating Lower Montana A&M by 50 points and giving them a condescending round of applause to go along with their check and ass whipping can disguise it for a while, but when it all comes right down to it they react just like any other fans. Some are classy, some are assholes, some are patient, some are reactionary, some are having sex with livestock (wait, that's mostly only you guys. And CSEwe...).

If Bo Peep wins 8 or more, he isn't going anywhere. The PTB in Lincoln now understand how it looks, even for a major program, to can somebody who has been winning. When Frankie Slopitch got the boot, NU had a hard time being anything other than a foil for other established coaches to use to get a raise. Only the totally misinformed Husker still believes Bill Callahan was anything but choice number four...or lower. Can Bo Peep after 8 or more wins and NU will have to take a flyer on a HC because no established HC will be interested.

I would assume that level-headed fans are also saying that while they support the program, the program is not Bo Pelini and respect/loyalty is a two-way street.

Times change. You guys ran Solich out of town for winning and recruiting at just above the level Pelini is. And you guys loved Solich as a representative of the university and the state. Have you fallen so far in the last decade that you're willing to accept being a program in the 2nd tier that has to have such a bad character at the helm in order to achieve that?

I can understand an offense getting stagnant or going through a slump. It happens. But letting 600+ go to teams like WYOMING just wont' fly. Papuchas has the worst defensive stats in Nebraska history. This is a fact. When Pelini was running the defense in his early years he did pretty damn good. To me, I think we will be fine if we just get a new D coordinator and finally find a good pocket passing quarterback.

A new D Coordinator is a must...but what is the deal with Martinez? Is he REALLY the best thing you guys could find...for 4 years straight? He is TERRIBLE.

:wtf: This confused me greatly. Then I realized your OC is Shortbus. You are so screwed.

Wrong about Solich. He was ran out of town...........well let's just say there is more to the story and move on. But I get your point as attempted.

i actually sort of err on the side of the red polyester horde on this one.....they have at least seen good football. pelini isn't giving it to them.

Meh. The "Greatest Fans on Earth" just got calledout by the Classiest Coach on Earth. This is nebraska football at its finest.

But look at what the nebraska fanbase was willing to accept in the case of Osborne. I'm pretty sure that Solich didn't exceed that threshold, so let's just agree that he wasn't winning to the expectations of the red fans.

Are the Nebraska fans going to stand and applaud Pelini as he leaves his farewell press conference.

Martinez was and still is a quality ncaa quarterback. Look at his first two seasons, he got tons of 6's on the ground and a few in the air. The problem with him now is that they've completely coached him to not run. If you look at tape from his last couple of games you'll see times where he has 30 yards of open field in front of him yet he still tries to throw. Freshman and Sophomore Martinez would have taken the 30-50 yards no sweat. Now, I understand this is what you want a QB to do in the real world but the reality is that Taylor isn't going to play Sundays and his biggest asset and threat was his run game and throwing in passes here and there when the defense cheats up. He doesn't do this at all anymore and other teams recognize this. All they have to do is stop a regular run attack, press the quarterback and guard against a sub par passer. UCLA executed this perfectly in the second half when they started their pass rush and giving cushion to our receivers. Now when he's up against a pass rush he doesn't scramble for yards he throws it out of bounds or takes the down and that is why we 3 and out like there is no tomorrow.
