Games thread - MEN'S Bball scheduled to visit Oregon (Tues., 1/25/21, 8:00 PM MT), Washington (Thurs., 9:00 PM MT) and WSU (Sunday, 8:00 PM MT)

Per MJ, Lovering has torn MCL and likely out for season (6-8 wks). Also sounds like Da Silva is out with a stomach bug. Bummer as he was a key player when we won in Boulder.

O'Brien will be super important. On KOA, Tad only said "injured" MCL, out 6, more likely 8 weeks

Will, #30, may have to show what he's got. That 7'4" guy is changing a lot of shots, keeping our bigs from the hoop

Good little run. Keep being aggressive, don’t get discouraged by the turnovers. The way Washington plays, you’re gonna have turnovers. Don’t give up live ball transition layups, play solid defense, finish possessions.

TV: Wash coach said his focus was not letting passes into our big men

Simpson is very heady, doesn't force things.

C'mon #30 Will (a week or so into his scholarship)

Buffs gave up 8 ORebs for the half. Not too bad considering they grabbed 7 themselves. Feels like this has been a big problem all season though.

Other than that they look good. FG, 3, and FT %'s all look good so far. Limit 2nd chance points and they could have been up by double digits.

Edit: Also 7 TO's to Wash's 6, not bad there. Battey has 2 fouls, everyone else with 1 or fewer.

Pretty good considering how shorthanded we are. As long as long range shooting keeps working and Battey/Jabri avoid foul trouble we are in good shape. Kee has responded to his benching 2 games back and leading.
