Looking forward to the CSU game next year

Marcus Holt is now a juco who averaged under 4 points a game and under 4 rebounds a game. Most concerning is that a 6'9" player shot 37% from the field. 48% from the free throw line too. Basically, he's still the same guy that ESPN rated as a 1* out of high school. Fast down the court, quick leaper, bad feet and no offensive skills. If he can't score on tip-ins or open dunks, he can't score.

Good pickup for CSU.

If he is shooting 37% he clearly isn't that good at getting tip-ins and open dunks.

We've had plenty of players put up similar stats at JuCo or high school and became studs for us.

I'm going to trust Eustachy who has put 3 teams into the NCAA tourney, made the Final 4 and was Coach of the year

As you should. That's your team and he's your coach. Best of luck to you.

Better stock up on some Natty lite, Eustachy was a better coach with beer.

Moby is 1000x better than CEC and its not even close. What with the hideous gold seats. Do you guys even have a Video board? I don't remember
I would hate the Keg if I were you too. As ****** as it is, we kick the **** out of you there. And our average attendance is more than Moby can even fit. hey, that is just like football.

Last game there went to double overtime and it took a more than 20 free throw deficit for CU to beat us by like 3 points.

41 Free throws for CU. 19 for CSU. That is some nice home officiating right there.

Good one

Hey look, someone doesn't know the series record in the Keg! Even though nik has posted it in this very thread!

I am assume you are speaking of the game in 2010, with Burks and Higgins, who both took a ton of free throws, home or away. I dont think this was statistically significantly more than any other game, home or away. Also, if you knew how they do officials, they are not local guys, so if you are saying they are pursuaded by the crowd, fair enough, but that is basically saying we have a better atomosphere. You still lose

No, but it is pretty telling when you need 22 extra free throws to win a game AT HOME, in 2OT

My favorite part of the noise meter in Moby was at times it was itself being ironic. When the other team had just scored it would be blasting(what I assume to be a delay) or when the crowd was silent or not ready to stand up the noise meter would be blasting. It really had nothing to do with actual noise.

And that was last year. This year the goal will have to be closer to capacity of 11k. The key will be out of conference /winter vacation games.

I believe that the feasibility report revealed that CSU will be drawing over 10k to its home games once it does a facility remodel. :wink2:
