And I learned last year that if you say something too harsh or nit picky, even when they get a win, then certain posters on here get all bent out of shape. So I didn't say anything at the end. It was 2 games into the season. But I still felt like the reason we won that game so handily was because Auburn couldn't hit the broadside of a barn, and we got a ton of transition point off those misses .... Not because our guards hit open jumpers or broke anyone down off the dribble.

Auburn was a good win. Tonight doesn't change the Auburn win. Absolutely no one here was proclaiming Auburn as a great team or anything close to it. There was ample discussion of where they'd fit in the Pac, and no one said higher than 8th.

We've pretty much done the same thing every year we've played them under Tad. They play a zone and play slow as ****, and are good at it. We for various reasons struggle against Wyoming more than we do against almost any other team.

Pac has some garbage at the bottom. We'll scrape some
road wins and the Keg will remain a place where we win the vast majority of the time.

Telling stat - Wyoming had 22 assists with 6 for CU. The points off of those assists were more than enough to beat CU, not counting any of Wyoming's other points. Wow.

I'm sorry ... and I drew a lot of flak about dissing Ski last year ... but I really don't see why he deserves the PT he gets with so little productivity, leadership, etc. Yeah ... he's had his moments (last year's last second shot v. KU, his performance in the Charleston Classic, etc.) ... but overall he doesn't handle or distribute the ball well, and misses a lot more shots than he makes (and not just from 3 point range). I think it's time to sit his ass down, go with the future, and use Ski when he can come off the bench and contribute. And if he's not willing to do that, then **** him and let him move on to whatever.

We scored 5 points the first 10 minutes of the second half and 4 points the last 10 minutes. I think that is the balanced scoring your look for when running the 1940's 4 corner offense.
