Not about field conditions, but more about the Holiday Bowl. When I lived in San Diego, I always tried to gather a crowd to join me at the game. I used to say "it's always a one-point game! It's going to be great!"

Of course it's not always a one-point game, but man, it seems to happen a lot in that bowl (like last night). It's almost always a great game.

Seems to be consistently one of the best bowl games every year. Slight underachievers in a nice town.
 
I love bowl game season. I have since I was a little boy. But man, it has sure gotten hard to watch these games when because there are so many of them the networks have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for their commentators. You get a great match up between 2 football blue bloods (FSU + OU) called by two absolute FEEBS, who a month ago were likely calling Grand Valley State vs Northern Michigan on ESPN+.

Year in and year out the Holiday Bowl is one of the best.

but did I do that? No.
Why?

Because you consistently have some of the worst evaluations on this site.
 
This game has been fun. I wasn't expecting much, but it's been entertaining.
