Official Bowl Games Thread

easily the worst playoff ever. Unless OU does something. Today’s games were beyond underwhelming to say the least.

8 v 9 conference games for starters. Plus that de facto bye the SEC gives teams in late November.

And you can bet Clemson and Alabama will get the benefit of the doubt due to their recent playoff appearances if things are close.

Many SEC and ACC teams also open the season with a BCS opponent whereas most other P5 teams open with an FCS or G5 opponent. Also, maybe other conferences should follow the same model as the SEC and ACC and go to 8 conference games. Seems to be working for them just fine.

Really? Assuming they beat OU tonight, Clemson might be a single digit dog vs Bama. It’s another year of Bama winning it all until proven otherwise, imo

We'll agree to disagree.

Satan won't have a month to prepare for a team that's as physical and as talented as his own.

An 8 game playoff just means we get to watch teams like Bama and Clemson mudhole 2 teams before playing each other. FUN.

:ROFLMAO:

You're encouraging the college football to have far less compelling OOC games? Sounds fun.

maybe.in.the.short.term.

open it up to 8 and the concentration of talent and all the rest dissipates. oh, and another round is another chance at upsets. ohio state... ucf... uw... you don't know what would happen, other than we would have more teams taking a bite at it.

What was #9 for OU doing there? On the Bama sideline, talking **** to Hurts after a 9 yard run as a part of a defense that’s given up 21 points in the first quarter. Some of these guys are just plain dumbasses
