Official Spring Practices Thread

Mentioned in the Newstand, but interesting comments about Austin Johnson from Drew Wilson. Soft redshirt candidate or more in 2019?

Bish needed to switch positions two years ago. Linebacker, tight end/ H Back or fullback would all have afforded him a better chance of making the NFL. Hard to imagine the coaches didn’t have that conversation with him.

I posted this in Brazil a while ago but salsa had a knee injury and got sick his junior year which made his weight numbers look lower that they should have been. Not surprised to see him up around 290 already because he has the perfect frame for a guard. Still think we got the best lineman from ranch last year!

Fullback? He barely has the frame to be a “power” tailback, much less an NFL fullback.

Can anyone identify the players? I think Ray is sitting with Sherman Roddick, and Jynes.

Yep that is the table of four. The main table is Justin Eggers, John Deitchman, Brett Tonz (closest to camera on left) across from Vaatofu Sauvao, Frank Fillip, Jack Schutack, and Austin Johnson (closest to camera on right). The other pic is: Chance Lytle (closest to camera on left), Kary Kutsch, Hunter Vaughn, Kolter Smith sitting across from Colby Pursell, Tim Lynott, Heston Paige, and Jake Moretti (closest to camera on right).

Only player not picture is Arlington Hambright (joins in summer) and the three incoming true freshman.
