Bowl Games Thread

BYU has always played this way. The old WAC was the dirtiest conference I can remember in terms of all the cheap stuff. Guys hitting the pile or the runner late, kicks, dropping fist, knees, and elbows as guys fall on other guys. Lots of shots at the knees and ankles and other dangerous stuff as well.

Part of the reason I have always rooted against BYU, they were among the worst in that conference and haven't changed.
As a non Mormon in a small Wyoming town dominated by mormons this was the biggest game of the year

Disappointing way to end the game, especially considering that the difference in the game was the dropped punt and a mishandled snap on a FG try. Could have very easily been a Wyoming win.

Wyoming fans should be happy though, Bohl has them on the right track after a number of down years. Future looks good in an MWC that is ripe for a new dominant team.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, so I'm posting it here. In case anyone's interested, the PAC 12 Network is broadcasting the 1994 CU @ Texass game today at 3:30pm MT ... good memories.

So, pretty much a home game for Idaho tonight with the 50 tickets the lambs sold? Cold and dry, go Vandals.

So half their normal home crowd against an average opponent? Shouldn't be an issue for them.

is there some reason why the ram horns on the helmets don't match each other? I just noticed a couple helmets and the horns are of different widths and spacing. You expect that in high school helmets. not a major thing, but it just looks weird.

Dude. It's the f ucking sheep. Does anything more need to be said?

Never mind. Just heard the announcers talking about the move to FCS. Makes sense for them when the only reasonable western conference for them to be in is the MWC and that isn't expanding anytime soon.

Idaho admin decided they don't want to continue the FBS arms race. Ultimately comes down to money.

CSU against teams with Silver and Gold school colors who mainly use black and gold through 6 quarters: 14-64.

Frankly, it makes all the sense in the world for them to be playing the programs from Montana and the Dakotas. Might even improve attendance.
