Sorry if this has already been covered somewhere and I missed it but does anyone know which guys that have been injured are coming back this week?
I know that Travis Hunter is out and McCaskill is in.

In order of importance in my opinion:
Van Wells
Carter Stoutmire
Brendan Gant - (I'm not sure if he's any good but boy do we need an upgrade at linebacker)
Myles Slusher
Javon Antonio
Travis Jay
I'd put Antonio either 2nd or 3rd. We've been cover 4 and cover 3'd to death the last two weeks, trying to keep our speed in front of them. We need a big target sitting in holes in the zone. When we started working Mikey Harrison in that space last week is when things started rolling. Having another big bodied and even more athletic guy as in option is going to be huge for our offense going forward.

The attention and momentum once the Buffs trounce the Quackers, building up to the USC game is going to be insane. And not to get too far ahead but CU wins at home in that game too! What then?

Then we have two games against rather pedestrian PAC 12 schools, one of which is on a Friday night. The hype will settle down, one way or another.

I think that they are all important to get back but I set my rankings based on marginal return above replacement. Van Wells, Stoutmire, and hopefully Gant are much better than who they would replace.
Mikey Harrison is doing a pretty good job filling the role you described.

Probably been mentioned, maybe even by me! (I can’t remember jack squat!). But when asked about Cormani playing, Prime said, “He’s not ready.” When asked why Prime said, “Cormani.”

I’m sure HS was effortless for him and he probably wasn’t mentally prepared for the elevated skill at this level. I hope he received the wake-up call and is responding appropriately.

And, of course, there’s the physical part as well. The kid was in the 160 lb range in HS. He also needs to mature physically.

I've had that daydream CU in the top 5 until they lose. Continuing the daydream my money says if CU has 9 wins we're playing on New Years Day...going from 1-11 to a possible 10 win season having Prime in his first year will drive the ratings through the roof.

Brewer is looking like a genius right now 7 targets 7 catches (not including the 2 point conversion). Harrison may not be the run blocker we'd hope for in a TE but does he really need to be?

Which would put us at 7-0 (bowl eligible) & the hype would continue to build each week...the first loss will draw attention surpassing the winners that day.
For a second allow yourself to think...the Buffs qualify for a bowl...constant Buff exposure for weeks feeding the beast and there's no down side to that.

Colorado’s defensive scheme is extremely complex. It’s no surprise that mainly veteran guys are getting more run.

Yep. Put it on Burrito’s tab again, please.
I think I see what you did there.

If anything, it makes it impossible to continue what CSU did for 3 1/2 quarters Saturday night. Oregon is going to have to account for the TE, which should take some pressure off the run game and the WRs.
