2016 CFB News & Notes (National)

Pirate gives zero ****s.

He needs wins.

WSU doesn't exactly have high expectations but Leach got their hopes up and now isn't winning a lot. He isn't looked at as a genius anymore either, not going to have a lot of jobs waiting for him when he gets fired.

Remember when people were mad at Wilmer for voting ohio state number one to start the season?

Oops.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops called comments that true freshman backup quarterback Austin Kendall made last week about Ohio State's defense "ridiculous," and said that he will restrict media access to only include older players.

In an interview with Sooner Sports TV, Kendall termed the Ohio State defense "basic" and claimed that starting quarterback Baker Mayfield would "light up" the Buckeyes. Instead, Ohio State picked off Mayfield twice and dominated the Sooners on the way to a resounding 45-24 victory in Norman.

After the game, several Ohio State players held up a sign that said "Basic defense."

"I don't know what [Kendall] could've been watching, to be quite honest with you," Stoops said Monday during his weekly news conference. "He must not have watched any tape, if he had that to say."

Joey Kaufman twitter ( can't quote it from my phone) says Osa Masina & Don Hill have already been removed from the SC roster because of sexual assault allegations and there are rumors of a player exodus.

This would be awesome. Ridiculous how USC keeps screwing this up.

Let's hope that new AD Lynn Swann maintains the same standard of performance that his predecessor Pat Haden did.

USC is one of those jobs that it almost takes an effort to screw up, they keep managing to do it.

As of last week, Masina was indicted in Salt Lake and is out on bail. Woman woke up, after partying, in the process of being raped by Masina with plenty of physical evidence on physical exam in the ER, if reports are correct.

USC needs to realize sooner rather than later that they've made a bad hire, which certainly seems to be the case at this point.

Hopefully they have totally given up on the season by the time the Buffs head to LA
