promoted QB Davis Webb Transferring to COLORADO from TTU (Committed to COLORADO)

I'm hoping by week 10. What about you?

No idea what the Island comment is.

Dropping a 6-0 record right out of the chute would be my preference.

I agree with you that the Island makes no sense.

Very very very happy about Davis becoming a BUFF!

VERY!

Of the first six games, just steal one of the big 3. Hold serve on the others.

Tall order, just do it.

Not sure whether this is worthy of it's own post so I'll just put it here. I posted it on Rivals but figure some people here would find it interesting as well.

With Davis Webb coming here, I decided to just watch every game I could by him because I wasn't all that convinced people had actually watched the guy much and you can only tell so much from stats. I then decided to cut each game down to just clips of him passing or running, which brings the games down to just a quick 6-10 minute video. I included everything, every INT, incompletion, throw away, TD, screen pass, etc. If the commentators said something interesting or showed a replay or Webb was making an interesting audible, I sometimes kept it in. So you can come to your own conclusions. Keep in mind, these are mostly clips of him as a Freshman and some as a Sophomore, I would bet another year with Kingsbury and Mahomes around as a Junior certainly didn't hurt.

Edit: Someone asked that I do the same thing with Sefo so here's his game against UCLA this past season. That's all I got though, I can't watch more of the last 2 seasons right now.

Nice work! FYI, you have the Sefo video set to "Private".

I honestly don't think the OL will be as bad as is being predicted. Numbers and experience are all improved. The best thing that can happen to this OL is for the CU DL to show some improvement. The OL can't get better unless they're practicing against legitimate Pac 12 D linemen.

Watching more videos...even as a freshman Webb makes his reads really quickly, makes good decisions, has good vision and has good mobility. Biggest difference between Sefo and Webb that I'm seeing is making reads...Webb goes so quickly it's really impressive whereas Sefo seems to get stuck on his first one or waits too long to make his second read.
