Other games weekend of 11/30-12/1

Huge defensive stand there when it looked like Bama was about to go up 7-0 early on. And now Tua is limping, hmm....

Gary Danielson is the king of the "if the team did (something that didn't happen)....then....(also something didn't happen).

if the linebacker didn't make that tackle, that was a sure touchdown....

and then talking a lot about how great the SEC is. honk honk.

???

Where the **** did you get that from? Your ass?

Screw you. I called the PAC a crap conference a while ago and skibum went totally passive aggressive. Ever since my post along with the Santa Clara game I've read nothing here other than how lousy the PAC is. I'm confused. You guys need to get your stories together.

Tua's pocket awareness leaves a bit to be desired. He doesn't like taking the L on any play, but sometimes you just have to.

No, from some of the assholes here. They know who they are.

I realize this concept might be difficult for you to comprehend (given your obviously limited intellectual capacity) but there is a difference between assessing the overall quality of a conference's football performance, and its management at its top level. While no doubt the two are intertwined to an extent, they are not the same. But I'm not surprised that such subtle distinctions are lost on you, given your postings on other boards here. Quite a lot of concepts appear to elude you.

it was true for a while that saying anything bad about the pac was verboten. but, those days are over......quality of play, management....we aren't afraid anymore.

it was the best move for us.....but both quality of play and management have been lacking. becoming a less than P P5 conference. ESPN ended an article about last night's championship game by stating: the pac is the worst of the p5 conferences. heck, they just came out and said it. no provocation.

make no mistake....our contribution to quality of play is iffy at best.

Would love to be in the Alabama locker room at HT.

It's almost like Alabama is rattled because it hasn't been challenged all year.

Georgia is punching them in the mouth, Alabama hasn't had to respond to that yet. This might end up being a great one, if they do respond, which is usually a given with Bama.

Right now the PAC is the worst conference, hard to argue that.

Also worth remembering that these things do change over time. Wasn't to long ago that both the national media and their own fans were wondering if the B1G was viable as a major conference. tOSU was struggling (by their standards,) Michigan was failing to make bowl games and getting beat by FCS teams and the rest was mediocre at best.

Also had a stretch when Oklahoma was in transition and Texas was down and the Big XII was looked at as a joke.

Right now as mentioned earlier in this thread what would the ACC look like if Clemson hit a down cycle? Not much else there worth looking at.

Get USC back in the discussion, Oregon playing like they did under Kelly and we aren't having this discussion. Take that Washington team from last night and give them a QB who can make a play and you have a playoff team.

Yes it would help if the league office had it's act together. If our CCG was played in a place and at a time where it was taken seriously. Get the bulk of our games available to a good portion of the nation's viewers. Fix the schedule so we are less likely to knock each other out of the rankings. Make more money.

Don't go all drama queen though and think that the PAC is now irrelevant, we will be back and some other conference will be dealing with the same questions.
