Kansas Lookalike & Game thread - MBB (Lawrence, KS, Saturday, 12/7, 5:00 PM MT, ESPN2)

...well not as exotic as Scotch but Go Buffs from Minneapolis. The bar just turned ESPN2 to a hockey game....so guess I wont get to see our incredible comeback.

So... ...**** happens. This is still a great team, fully capable of a S16. But we definitely need to earn it and hope this loss kicks them in gear.

As for the ultra negative nancies on here... ...calm down. Yes, we could use another ball handler and a great scorer, but wing scorers arent that easy to find. Even some top 50 recruits don't pan out as scorers in college.

I know I'm not the most frequent poster, but I do feel I'm fair and objective w it bball team, even sometimes (maybe rarely...) right at times. This year's team is good. I still look fwd to the rest of the ride.
 
Why do we have to wait to learn from this game? Why weren’t we learning from the last four games where we played like **** for long stretches but still managed to win? Shouldn’t we have learned from those games?

I hate it when we **** the bed on the big stage.
 
The defending national champions and number 5 ranked team in the nation just lost by 29 on the road this week as a 2 point Vegas underdog to an unranked team.

This is basketball. I still agree we played bad and don’t look good. Just adding other facts to the perspective.
 
So the Buffs go on the road and get spanked by a legit top 5 team, and many act suprised. Hope the team continues to work hard and grow, I don't see a sweet 16 team but top 4 in the PAC and a win in the dance I can see. Bitch about the last 4 games and no O. most of Tads previous teams lose a couple of those, Buffs are winning and it's nice. Today sucked but it's just one game early in the season, they need to figure themselves out on the O. side.

This. We lost by 14 to the #2 team in the sport. We're fine.
