Official Construction Update Thread

I guess I'm picture hosting retarded. Anyways, I like how they are doing the buff walk, they have the sections already poured and it seems that once the brick campaign gets going, all they have to do is lay them in the pre-casted areas. IPF is insane. Alot of window work was going on, all in all it was worth the flight out to denver to check it out.,

Couple days old, but Blackout (Ralphie) was getting a look at the new facilities. Looks like she got to roam a bit at Folsom by herself too.

By permanent enclosure, I'm talking about a pen in the NE side of the stadium where she could be kept all game long. Build a tunnel or passageway under the north stands to transport her between where she finishes up her run and her pen. It would be cool to have her visible all game long and be in a place where people can go up and see her up close.

Why?

She's out in public all the time. I'm no Buffalo whisperer or anything, but she seems to be just fine when there's a bunch of people around. They take her down to the National Western Stockshow every year. Tens of thousands of people all milling about, making noise, etc. She does great. Why couldn't they build a permanent enclosure for her at Folsom that wouldn't require sedation?

Same reasons they have to do it for bevo. Lawyers, Insurance, and Liability.

So is Bevo.

Bison can jump 6ft vertical. They would have to make the enclosure as small as the portable one. Otherwise if she got spooked or bored she could jump out. Blackout has been a bit of a trouble maker. She has been more energetic and a bit more wild then the previous two
