Ryan Day - Head Coach Ohio State Buckeyes

Assuming Day is the hire...

Yeah. Maybe our best scenario is that tOSU rolls but gets left out of the playoff. But I'd say that them making the playoff is our 2nd best scenario due to the publicity. Always better to win and have momentum. Momentum is everything.
Assuming he is the hire, I think the best case scenario is tOSU making the playoff, hands down. Playoff is still a month away and I hope we don't have our entire recruiting class wrapped up by the early signing period, anyways. A ton of free pub and time between the announcement and NLI day in February.

I'm also very jealous of his work in the 2nd half against Oregon State.
Has a 28 point lead -

Lots of runs but isn't afraid to pass and step on their throat, Martell gets some actual meaningful playing time.
Almost exactly like the CU-Oregon state game.

On Opposite Day.

I know this is a tricky question but, how much Urban is hands on with OSU's offense? Do we know?
Probably a lot. I mean, if you are mother ****ing Urban Meyer you're going to have your hands on your team's offense. And your OC and offensive staff are going to be glad you are in that room.

But Day definitely put his stamp on things and changed some things, particularly with the pass routes to generate more big plays. Urban's philosophy is all about explosive scoring plays being one of the main factors for winning a football game. It's why he brought Day in.

Let’s look at CU’s coaching history.

Since 1948, 7 head coaches have had winning records.

Two (Crowder and Neuheisel) didn’t have a background in the Big 10. I’m tossing the weasel in the “****ty coach” bin. So 5 of 6 of CU’s best coaches in the last 70 years came with a background in he B1G

I know the B1G has a rep as a slow conference, but give me Ryan all Day long.

For some reason he looks like a guy in a Star Trek episode in that picture.

It's the shirt.

He kinda reminds me of this guy:
